a) Transfer Services
1. Needs recording: job description, creation of short videos from the workplaces, required number per specialty, permanent or seasonal work, profile description of ideal candidates, demarcation on a case-by-case basis of salary, supplementary benefits, possibility of overtime, overtime, bonus, provision of accommodation, food, daily transport, etc.
2. Search & selection of suitable candidates. In cooperation with our local offices in the countries of origin, we identify suitable interested candidates who are invited for a personal interview. The interviews are filmed, the candidate is asked to describe himself, and then he is asked to answer targeted questions in order to determine his temperament, personality and sincere disposition for the specific job with the terms proposed to him, while then his resume is checked and cross-checked and recommendations are requested from previous employers. If he is already a worker, in a specialty where possible, he is asked, on a case-by-case basis, for a brief video recording from his work, during the course of the work, in order to assess his skills.
The second interview prior to the selection of the candidate for transfer takes place with the responsible person in Europe and may be done jointly or before the final selection together with the customer’s personnel officer. Video interviews are forwarded to the client for final selection, as appropriate.
In case the position concerns a highly qualified employee, it is possible to hold a live interview where the employee will be asked to answer specialized questions and multiple choice in order to better evaluate his training and experience.
At the end of the procedure, the selection of each employee for whom the transfer process is immediately initiated is finalized.
3. Submission of a transfer request on behalf of the employer to the local Authorities with the assistance of our company.
The application shall be accompanied by the full details of the applicant, a copy of his passport and, where applicable, a curriculum vitae, shall also be accompanied by the relevant employment contract signed by the employer with a genuine signature and shall provide for the duration of the – fixed term – for which the relevant visa will be granted.
After the approval of the transfer by the local Authorities, the decision is forwarded to the respective Embassy or Consulate of the country of worker’s origin , where the candidate passes an interview, presents personal supporting documents and is invited to sign the employment contract.
We undertake the whole process of requests for transfer to local authorities as well as the issuance and validation of all necessary documents (in the country of origin and country of destination on behalf of the employee.
The candidate provides a criminal record and extensive medical examinations for infectious or parasitic diseases, a passport and birth and family status certificates. The candidate before travelling must be provided with three months’ travel insurance for the full medical and hospital coverage until he is covered as a newly hired employee by the destination’s country National Health Care system. Exact copies of the above supporting documents are handed over to the employer after the candidate has been granted a visa.
4. Visa issuance: With the issuance of the visa, the candidates are informed for their immediate departure. Before their departure, they undergo oral and written guidance training which explains the particularities and rules governing living in the host country, what they should avoid and what they should observe in order to remain in the host country smoothly and without problems. The delivery of the employees takes place at the destination country’s main International Airport, unless agreed with the customer another place of delivery.
b) Residence permit issuing services, tax identification number, social security number. Upon the arrival of the employees, the application for a residence and work permit is submitted by our company on their behalf, as well as for the acquisition of tax identification number and social security number. Then their recruitment by the employer follows on the basis of the already existing fixed-term contract of employment between the employer and the employee.
Workers from third countries are subject to European legislation both for their employment relations, salaries and for their insurance rights. Annual residence and work permits shall be renewed at the worker’s request for each subsequent year and up to three or five years as the case may be, without requiring his departure from the country, as is the case for shorter working contracts, except where applicable for applications for such an extension.
Under the European Civil Code and Labor laws, an employer or employee is in any case entitled to terminate the contract for “important reasons” without a time limit and this right cannot be excluded by agreement. An important reason for termination is those occurrences – even in isolation – which, irrespective of their origin or the existence of a fault, render, in accordance with good faith and commercial practice, the complainant intolerable to continue the contract until its normal expiry. Furthermore, the termination of the fixed-term contract, before the expiry of the agreed period, may also be effected by drawing up a contrary agreement between the parties.

A few words about the existing legal framework
The effectiveness of our actions does not always depend only on the will of the employer, the candidate and ours. The current immigration codes in the European Union also impose qualitative and quantitative restrictions per year, specialty and Region, which tend to increase year by year, but are still far from meeting the real needs of the market, while the typical bureaucracy and the lack of staffing of those in charge of transfer approvals of Public Regional Services and Local Consulates, often create congestion which may cause delays on a case-by-case basis, which is why employers who see remarkable solutions to staffing in addition, the European Commission is currently preparing a Communication on the implementation of the EU’s Action Plan for Pre-Accession Assistance to the European Neighborhood Policy. The announcements of the competent Ministries that it will soon be possible to submit and examine applications for the transfer of third-country nationals to work online allows the optimism that the implementation times will soon be significantly reduced.
